While exploring the Khajuraho Temples, we were busy trying to take our own photos when a kind local man noticed us struggling and offered to click one for us.
We happily handed him the phone, expecting just a quick photo. But instead, he started talking to us and explaining the little details of the temple’s art, carvings and architecture.
What started as “Let me click a photo of you!” turned into an impromptu guided tour.
He stayed with us through our entire exploration, pointing out details we would have probably walked past without noticing. Before we left, he even suggested a few local eateries for us to try.
Honestly, this is one of the things we love most about travelling. Sometimes, the places stay with you because of their history and architecture. And sometimes, it’s the kindness of a stranger that becomes the story you remember.
Humanity and kindness never fail to amaze us. ❤️
