The living room setup was exactly what I had always envisioned, and the natural light flooding every corner added an extra touch of magic. I quickly claimed my little corner by the window, where I now sit, happily writing and soaking in the peaceful vibes. Our stay began on a high note, thanks to our wonderful host, Mr. Alok Nayak. Courteous and friendly, he welcomed us with a smile and gave us a quick house tour, making us feel instantly at home. For dinner, we decided to keep it simple and ordered from a local vegetarian restaurant via Zomato—the food was tasty and hit the spot after a day of travel. The night ended with us cozied up on the couch, watching comedy shows, and drifting off to sleep without a care in the world.
Waking up the next morning felt like a true Goan good morning! I opened my eyes to the sight of swaying palm trees just outside our window, and it filled me with a sense of gratitude and bliss. It felt like my eyes were having a little party, celebrating the beauty all around us. With the day ahead, we decided to take it slow—especially since the gentle rain outside made everything feel even more magical.
Our thoughtful host had provided us with milk, eggs, and bread, so we whipped up a simple breakfast of omelettes and coffee. As we sat together enjoying our meal, I couldn’t help but feel like we were living a little dream life here in Goa—so different from our daily routine, yet so refreshing and joyful. We were loving every bit of this peaceful escape and the slower pace that comes with it.

Did I mention that our Airbnb was just a 2-minute walk from Colva Beach? It was incredibly convenient! We could simply throw on our PJs and hop over whenever we wanted to soak up the sun or enjoy the waves. There were also small shops nearby for daily necessities, making it easy to grab anything we needed, including groceries and even liquor. In the evenings, we loved the option to unwind on the beach or take a leisurely stroll through the nearby market. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips😉.
We mostly enjoyed cooking and savoring homely meals during our stay, but if you ever feel like dining out, there are some excellent cafes nearby that offer a variety of delicious options.

Luxurious Living: Inside Our Stylish Airbnb
The apartment itself was spacious and thoughtfully designed. It featured a cozy bedroom with a private balcony, a modern bathroom, a large living room, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. The home’s aesthetic was a blend of white and grey tones, creating a luxurious yet calm atmosphere. With the lush backdrop of swaying green palm trees, the entire space feels like a stylish oasis.
One of the first things that caught our attention was how everything in the apartment was equipped with branded appliances and fittings. The kitchen was fully stocked with top-notch cooking pans and crockery, and the cabinets were filled with everything you’d find in a well-equipped home. It had an IFB Microwave, a toaster, blender, washing machine, a fridge, and more, making cooking and cleaning up a breeze. Additionally, the water filter was a fantastic bonus, reducing plastic waste and making our stay more eco-friendly. To top it off, our generous host pampered us with snacks, making us feel even more welcome.
The living room was equally impressive. A comfortable sofa and an extra bed by the window offered plenty of lounging space, while a large TV and perfectly functioning AC made it the ultimate relaxation spot. We found ourselves spending most of our downtime here. There’s also a big white dining table, which Animesh quickly turned into his workation setup. The Wi-Fi connection was decent, allowing us to work effortlessly without interruptions
Our bedroom was a cozy haven, adorned with grey bedsheets that perfectly complemented the room’s theme.The beds were firm and comfortable. The room featured well-designed cupboards, a mirror, and a small seating area for added comfort. The private balcony, overlooking lush greenery, was a true blessing. It quickly became our favourite spot for enjoying breakfast, offering a serene view and a peaceful start to our days.
The apartment can comfortably accommodate a maximum of four guests, making it an ideal choice for small families or groups of friends looking to enjoy a getaway together. Additionally, it included cleaning services every three days, which kept our space tidy. If we wanted daily cleaning, that option was available for an extra charge.
Convenient Services and Amenities
Our apartment was part of a lovely society, which granted us access to the swimming pool and to a well-equipped gym to stay active during our stay. These facilities were an add-on to our experience. It felt safe and secure, thanks to the guards on duty. We were delighted to discover that popular e-commerce services like Amazon and Zomato delivered in the area, making it easy to get everything we needed.
Reflecting on our time in South Goa, we couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay in this Airbnb instead of a hotel or homestay. It truly felt like we had our own home away from home, where we could unwind and immerse ourselves in the local culture. From the beautiful apartment and convenient amenities to the vibrant neighborhood and proximity to the beach, every moment was a joy.
